The primary purpose is to maximize the efficiency of the wind turbine requiring reliable, affordable, and efficient azimuth brakes. The new CB 90 R Ultra Energy has a maximum break force of up to 190 kN with easy maintenance and a weight-optimized design with significantly increased performance. This reduces the number of brake calipers per wind turbine and keeps the system safely in the wind in every situation.
