perma NOVA Automatic Lubrication System
perma NOVA is a standard single-point automatic lubrication system with a discharge period from 1 to 12 months. The discharge period can be easily arranged by pushing the "SET" button on the NOVA control unit. A temperature sensor periodically measures the ambient temperature, and the control unit calculates the required gas generation based on the following data. This process guarantees a regular and controlled discharge period.
perma NOVA Components
This lubrication system consists of a reusable control unit, a lubricant canister (LC) filled with grease or oil (with an integrated oil retaining valve), and a protective cover. perma NOVA is available in two standard sizes - 65 cc and 125 cc. The automatic lubricator with LC 65 cc is ideal for the lubrication of electric motors.
perma NOVA Applications
perma NOVA is intended for all application areas between -4 °F to 140 °F /-20 °C and 60 °C. They are suitable for lubricating roller- and sliding bearings, sliding guides, gear racks, shaft seals, and open gears located in areas with significant temperature variations (e.g., outdoor installations). The system is protected against dust and water jets when the individual parts are assembled correctly.
Activation and Installation
Following the activation, the guide is crucial before installing the perma NOVA single-point automatic lubrication system.

Clean the lubrication point before installation to protect the inside of the bearing from contamination.

Remove the grease nipple and check the thread size for the permit reducer

Apply thread sealant to the reducer and all other connecting parts and screw them into the lubrication point.

Prefill the lubrication point and all accessory parts with lubricant, be sure to use the same lubricant that is filled in the lubrication system and follow the manufacturer's lubrication instructions. For remote applications, ensure that all accessories are prefilled with grease.

The chart in the perma catalog assists in finding the suitable discharge period for a specific application. Remove the protection cover from the LC unit, attach the drive unit and turn it until the marking of the LC lines up with the edge of the drive unit.

The perma NOVA lubricator allows selecting a discharge period from 1 to 12 months by pressing the menu button.

Push the button "SET" to select the discharge period you want.

Write the activation and the expected replacement date on the label before installation.

Remove the outlet plug from the lubricator and screw the lubrication system into the lubrication point.

After the discharge, the period elapsed, and the perma NOVA lubricant canister must be replaced with a new one filled with the same lubricant.
This lubricator is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Indoors, the lubrication system is flexible; it can be installed in any mounting position and must be vertical (outlet pointing down) or horizontally outdoors or in wet areas down) or horizontal.
