perma, a leading provider of innovative and creative lubrication solutions, has a rich history spanning over 50 years. The company's single- and multi-point lubrication systems have found applications across various industries worldwide.

About perma

perma's journey began in 1934 with the establishment of a metal goods factory for household and kitchen appliances in Bad Kissingen, Germany. The company embarked on a path of innovation and achieved a significant milestone in 1964 with the invention and patenting of the perma CLASSIC single-point lubrication system. This groundbreaking product laid the foundation for perma's leadership in the single-point lubrication market.

In 1989, perma underwent a change in ownership as it was acquired by a private investment group. This event marked a new chapter for the company, leading to new management and extensive reorganization in 1991. The restructuring efforts aimed to position perma for continued growth and success.

Recognizing the importance of expanding its global reach, perma established subsidiaries such as H-T-L perma in 1995. These subsidiaries, along with a network of competent partners around the world, enabled perma to offer customers a wide range of solutions that met the highest technical requirements. This global presence and expertise became a significant asset for the company.

In 2000, perma underwent another transformation, changing its name to perma-tec GmbH & Co. KG. This name change reflected the company's commitment to technology and its position as a provider of cutting-edge lubrication solutions. To support its growing operations, perma invested in new infrastructure, including a new production and warehouse building, as well as an extension to its office building in 2005.

Perma's dedication to quality and excellence remained steadfast throughout its history. All perma products are developed, tested, and manufactured at the company's headquarters in Germany, adhering to the renowned "Made in Germany" quality standard. This commitment ensured that customers received reliable and high-performance lubrication solutions.

Product Range

perma offers a comprehensive range of lubrication solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of various industries. From single-point lubricators to multipoint systems, perma's product range caters to diverse applications, including automotive, manufacturing, mining, and food processing. The company's products are designed to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the lifespan of critical machinery components.

Single-point lubrication systems

Single-point systems are designed to supply lubricant to a specific lubrication point or a small number of points. They are commonly used in applications where precise lubricant delivery is required. These systems are compact, easy to install, and offer a cost-effective solution for machinery with limited lubrication points.

In a single-point lubrication system, the lubricant is stored in a reservoir or cartridge, which is equipped with a drive unit. The drive unit is powered by a battery and operates on a predetermined schedule. When activated, the drive unit applies pressure to the lubricant, forcing it through a dispensing mechanism and into the lubrication point. This ensures a controlled and consistent supply of lubricant to the specified area.

Multi-point lubrication systems

Multi-point lubrication systems, as the name suggests, are capable of supplying lubricant to multiple lubrication points simultaneously. These systems are suitable for equipment that requires lubrication at various locations. They offer versatility and flexibility in terms of lubricant distribution and can be customized to meet specific application requirements.

Multi-point lubrication systems employ a central pump or distributor unit to distribute lubricant to multiple lubrication points. The central unit is connected to a series of distribution lines that lead to individual lubrication points. The system is designed to regulate and distribute the lubricant in precise quantities to each lubrication point, ensuring proper lubrication throughout the machinery.

Benefits of Perma Lubricators

Perma Lubricators offer several key benefits:

Improved Equipment Performance: Perma lubricators ensure a continuous and precise supply of lubricant to critical equipment components, which helps reduce friction and wear, enhancing the performance and efficiency of the machinery, and also minimizes the risk of equipment failure and costly downtime.

Extended Equipment Lifespan: Proper lubrication is crucial for the longevity of industrial equipment. Perma lubricators deliver the right amount of lubricant at regular intervals, which helps to maintain optimal operating conditions. By reducing friction and wear, these systems can significantly extend the lifespan of bearings, gears, chains, and other moving parts.

Simplified Maintenance: Traditional manual lubrication methods often require frequent manual checks and lubricant replenishment, which can be time-consuming and labor-intensive. Perma lubricators automate this process by providing continuous lubrication over an extended period, which simplifies maintenance tasks, reduces the need for manual intervention, and frees up resources for other essential activities.

Cost Savings: Effective lubrication plays a vital role in reducing maintenance and repair costs. By ensuring optimal lubrication levels, perma lubricators minimize wear and tear, prevent unnecessary component replacements, and reduce the risk of breakdowns, which leads to cost savings in terms of replacement parts, labor, and unplanned downtime.

Enhanced Safety: Proper lubrication not only improves equipment performance but also enhances workplace safety. Well-lubricated machinery operates more smoothly and reliably, reducing the likelihood of accidents and injuries caused by malfunctioning equipment. Perma lubricators help maintain a safe working environment by ensuring consistent lubrication.

Environmental Benefits: Perma lubricators are designed to deliver precise amounts of lubricant, minimizing waste and reducing the risk of over-lubrication, which helps reduce environmental contamination caused by excess lubricant seeping into the surroundings or water sources. Additionally, many perma lubricators use environmentally friendly and biodegradable lubricants, further reducing their ecological impact.

In conclusion, perma's dedication to innovation, global presence, and commitment to customer satisfaction has positioned the company as a trusted leader in the lubrication industry. As technology continues to advance and industries evolve, perma is well-equipped to meet the lubrication needs of diverse applications and provide reliable solutions that contribute to the long-term success of its customers.
