Electric bearing heaters typically consist of a heating element, often in the form of a coil, and a control unit to regulate the temperature and heating time. The bearing is placed onto the heating element, and the heater is activated, allowing the heat to transfer to the bearing. This process causes the inner ring of the bearing to expand, making it easier to install onto a shaft or remove from a housing.
