AirTac pneumatic air gripper is a device that uses compressed air to operate gripper jaws that help in gripping, holding, and releasing the parts. Air grippers come in many different designs to accommodate many different-sized parts. Usually, air grippers consist of two fingers parallel or angular, and sometimes three fingers with a single or double-acting cylinder for control.

The main advantages of AirTac air grippers: are lightweight, cost-effective, have an extensive grip force range, can operate in tight spaces, and have fast response times. Pneumatic grippers are best suited to handling single-part types.
