A Flange Bearing also known as a flange mounted bearing is an industrial bearing mounted in a cast iron flange that supports a shaft to run perpendicular to the bearing’s mounting surface.

There are many different types of flange bearings, all engineered for a specific application and all with different designs and cages, as well as load and performance capabilities. The main three flange bearing styles are round or square, four-bolt flange, and two-bolt flange. They are widely used for automated conveyors, belt drives, machine construction, the food industry, medical processing, etc.
