Take-up Bearing is a type of mounted bearing used for adjusting and maintaining conveyor belt tension. Take-up is changing the length of the belt and chain to compensate for stretch, shrinkage, or wear, and maintain proper tension. The complete take-up bearing consists of the ball bearing, housing or frame, and positioning screw.

Take-up bearings and frames are typically used in conveyor belts, blowers, fans, food processing, manufacturing, mining, construction, and many other industries to keep their lines moving efficiently.
