Parallel Shaft Mounted Helical Gear Motors and Units
HIMMEL Parallel Shaft Helical Gear Motors are compact, high-efficiency drive solutions built on a modular principle, available in two-stage (FZ series) and three-stage (FD series) configurations, as well as tandem gear units for very high gear ratios. Featuring a parallel offset output shaft that can be integrated into a hollow shaft, these gear motors combine helically geared, polished tooth flanks with a cast iron housing for quiet, low-vibration continuous operation, covering a power range of 0.18 kW to 160 kW, torques from 70 Nm to 28,000 Nm, and gear ratios from 3 to 10,000, with foot, flange, or shaft mounting options and optional electromagnetic brakes, backstops, frequency converter operation, and ATEX variants.
