Other Valves
Other types of valves mainly refer to manual valves or mechanical valves. A manual valve is operated by a person and a mechanical valve is operated by a machine interface.
Mechanical valves work by applying energy by hand or feet to move them. The engineer would need to apply a push-pull motion or simply press a button with their palm.
Manual valves are available in many sizes and types including foot pedal valves, toggle, and rotary style hand levers, push/pull valves, pushbutton, selector switches, and key switches.
Manual and mechanical valves are strong, robust, and reliable and are most famous for being used as emergency stop buttons.
