Mayr EAS-HSE Torque Limiters

The EAS-HSE is a torque-limiting clutch that employs the ball-recess principle to provide positive-locking and disengagement features. In its regular operation, it transfers the pre-set torque from the hub to the output via either the pressure flange or the flange hub. In cases of torque exceeding the preset limit (an overload scenario), the clutch disengages. This disengagement involves axial movement or a "stroke" of the pins within the overload components, which remain in the disengaged position. This allows trailing masses to move freely. To restore engagement, manual intervention is required.
