Twiflex Shaft Arrangements

A coupling-shaft-coupling arrangement is known as a Cardan shaft or a flexible shaft if the coupling is rubber-based. The shafts are used to bridge a distance between two pieces of equipment. The Cardan shaft arrangement permits higher levels of misalignment to make the single coupling withstand. Being self-supporting, the Layrub coupling is well suited for use in a shaft arrangement.
