Bearing Induction Heaters
A bearing induction heater is a specialized tool used in industrial settings to facilitate the installation or removal of bearings. These heaters use the principle of electromagnetic induction to generate heat within the bearing or other metallic components.
The process involves placing the bearing onto the heating element of the induction heater, which generates alternating magnetic fields. These fields induce electric currents within the metal, causing it to heat up quickly and uniformly.
The main purpose of a bearing induction heater is to expand the inner ring of the bearing or the component being heated, making it easier to install or remove from a shaft or housing. This thermal expansion allows for a snug fit during installation or facilitates the removal of a tight-fitting bearing without damaging it.
