Unimec Mechanical Speed Modulators

Unimec-produced Mechanical Speed Modulator, also known as a Speed Modulation Gearbox, is intended to increase or decrease the revolution speed by an additional temporary rotation.

The modulator operation is manually effected, with motors or motor reducers, through a worm screw with a high reduction ratio. The operation principle of the Unimec mechanical speed modulator is the same as the planetary gearbox, the only difference being the external ring gear, which is not connected to the body but is contrasted by an adjustment worm screw.

The product can be used in various working stations like conveyor belts, paper, packaging and press machines, and more.
