Boston Gear Worm Gears
Boston Gear Worm Gears are designed to provide effective power transmission in applications that require high-ratio speed reduction in limited space. They are particularly suitable for use in systems with right angle (90°), non-intersecting shafts.
These worm gears offer smooth and quiet operation and are available in various materials, such as acetal, minlon, bronze, and cast iron allowing for compatibility with different application requirements.
The efficiency of BG worm gears can be improved by lowering the gear ratios. With some ratios, there is resistance to back driving. They are available in 3DP to 48DP Diametral Pitch with single, double, and quadruple threads.
We work closely with the leading manufacturers to provide gearing solutions to meet the requirements of your unique applications.
