Coils
A solenoid coil is essential in the operation of a solenoid valve. It converts the electric current into a magnetic field, allowing the solenoid valve to operate by controlling the opening and closing of the valve.
A solenoid coil consists of a wire tightly wrapped around a core, usually made of metal, to generate an electromagnetic field. When an electrical current passes through the coil, the electromagnetic field creates energy for linear motion.
When selecting a solenoid valve coil, the size, voltage, IP protection level, temperature ratings, and power levels should all be considered.
