Desmi Priming Ejectors
The priming ejector is designed for mounting on non-self-priming centrifugal pumps making the pump unit self-priming. By the way, the priming system only works if the delivery pipe on the main pump is shut off, e.g., using a non-return valve.
Function
Compressed air will flow through the ejector, creating a vacuum in the pump casing and suction line. After priming, the pumps build pressure in the discharge line, activating the pressure switch. The pressure switch then disconnects the power to the solenoid valves, and the priming stops automatically.
