Formsprag Backstopping Clutches HFB & VFB

Horizontal and vertical backstopping clutches are designed to prevent reverse rotation of shafts in applications with large shaft diameters of 6.0 inches and low backstopping torque requirements. HFB and VFB backstops have Sprag clutch technology, high inner race overrunning speed, and ball-bearing support and are protected with integral lip seals. Clutches are selected by shaft size and torque requirement.
