HIMMEL In-Line Helical Gear Motors are compact, high-efficiency drive solutions built on a modular principle, available in single-stage (E series), two-stage (Z series), and three-stage (D series) configurations, as well as tandem gear units for very high gear ratios. Featuring helically geared, polished tooth flanks in a cast iron housing for quiet, low-vibration continuous operation, these gear motors cover a power range of 0.12 kW to 160 kW, torques from 20 Nm to 15,000 Nm, and gear ratios from 1.5 to 10,000, with foot or flange mounting options and optional electromagnetic brakes, backstops, frequency converter operation, and ATEX variants. Designed for versatility and space efficiency, HIMMEL Helical Gear Motors serve a broad range of industries including materials handling, food and beverage, packaging, mining, intralogistics, and water treatment.
