Nidec Right Angle Planetary Gear Reducers EVL

The EVL series is the equivalent of the right-angle VRL series of high-precision gear reducer. They are excellent solutions when space and clearance are serious limitations. Featuring a robust internal construction, these reducers provide smooth operation and high torque density. The EVL series is a solid solution for servo applications in packaging, automation, and handling systems. Standard washdown and food-grade options are available, which are excellent solutions for harsh environments.

• They can be mounted at a 90-degree position saving space.

• Uncaged needle roller bearings offer excellent torque density and torsional rigidity. The bearing surface area is larger 43% compared to the rest of the industry.

• True concentric motor shaft clamping connection, reduced inertia for dynamic performance, and balanced for high-speed operation.

• The ring gear is machined directly into the housing, not welded or passed in. Provides better concentricity and elimination of speed fluctuation.

• One piece output shaft and planet carrier with two bearings straddling the planet gears. Higher stiffness, torque capacity, and safety factor, with the guaranteed alignment of gearing.
