Single Stage Units Stationary & Portable Compressors
A single-stage air compressor operates by drawing air into its cylinder, where it is compressed with a single piston stroke before being sent to a storage tank. This process contrasts with that of a two-stage air compressor, which, after the initial compression, delivers the air to a second high-pressure piston via an intercooler tube for further compression.
Single-stage compressors typically provide pressures between 110 and 145 psi, while two-stage models can achieve up to 175 psi. Quincy offers both stationary and portable single-stage units to suit various needs and applications.
