Sprockets for Roller Chains

Wippermann sprockets and plate sprockets are made of C 45, stainless steel, and special material. In addition to hardened toothing, we can also supply surface-refined types.

Standard sprockets are supplied with a hub on one side and are suitable for simplex, duplex, and triplex chains. Furthermore, our product range comprises several possibilities for hole circle bores and lightning holes.

Our standard range includes sprockets with pitches from p = 6 mm to p = 76.2 mm and a material strength between 500 N/mm² and 600 N/mm². According to our catalog, these sprockets come with pre-bores and can usually be delivered ex-stock. If the number of teeth exceeds a certain minimum, sprockets made of cast iron can also be supplied. On request, we are happy to offer different types as well.

Stainless steel sprockets for roller chains

Additionally, we can offer our customers a wide range of stainless steel sprockets for roller chains according to ISO 606. The characteristic features are the same as with sprockets made of normal steel. Our range comprises sprockets with pitches from p = 9.525 mm to p = 25.4 mm with the following number of teeth: 13 / 15 / 17 / 19 / 21 / 23 / 25. These sprockets can usually also be supplied ex-stock with pre-bores, according to our catalog. On request, we are happy to offer different types as well.

Machining of sprockets

All our sprockets mentioned above can be supplied with:

• Bore and groove
• Tapped and pin holes for bore
• Tapped and pin holes for bore on the pitch circle
• Slot holes on the hub and hole circle
