Allied Locke “H” Class Mill Chains
The ‘’H’’ Class Mill Chains are extremely strong and highly efficient chains initially designed for heavy drives and transfer conveyor purposes in saws, mills, and the paper and pulp industry. The chains are widely used in abrasive atmospheres where heavy, rugged chain is required.
They can be operated in two directions. As a drive chain, they travel in the direction of a closed barrel, for elevator or conveyor applications.
The direction of travel for ’H’’ Class Mill Chains is decided by the applications they are used for. The direction should be with the open end if used in conveyor applications. If used as a drive chain, the closed end, or the end with the barrel, should be first.
