Allied Locke Industries has a rich history dating back to 1965 when Robert L. Crowson founded the company as Allied Chains. Its first product was a detachable steel chain for the agricultural market. Today, Allied Locke Industries is a leader in the industry and comprises five divisions: Precision Roller Chain, Industrial Chain, Agricultural Chain, Sprockets, and Environmental Products.

History of Allied Locke

The story of Allied Locke Industries is one of innovation, dedication, and growth. Founded in 1965 by Robert L. Crowson, the company started out as a small producer of steel detachable chains for the agricultural market. However, with a strong commitment to quality and a focus on innovation, Allied Chains quickly gained a reputation as a leading producer of agricultural chains. In 1978, the company made a strategic acquisition that would help it to become an even stronger player in the industry. Today, Allied Locke Industries is one of the major producers of agricultural chains in the United States

In 1978, Allied Chains made a major move by purchasing Locke Steel Chain Co. Locke Steel Chain had been in the agricultural chain manufacturing business since 1897, and its acquisition by Allied Chains was a significant step towards expanding the company's product offerings. This move helped the company become one of the major producers of agricultural chains in the United States.

Over the years, Allied-Locke Industries has continued to evolve and expand its product offerings. The company now produces different types of chains, including roller chains, pintle chains, agricultural conveyor chains, and power transmission chains. Allied-Locke Industries also produces custom chains to meet specific customer requirements.
