Allied-Locke MSR Class Bushed Roller Steel Chains
MSR Class Bushed Roller Steel Chain has high strength and long wear, engineered for heavy-duty operation under severe conditions. Pins and bushings lock into specially designed sidebars, ensuring close pitch control and achieving as close to 100% bearing between the pin and sidebar as possible. This configuration is frequently referred to as a “bushed roller”.
Allied-Locke chain parts are designed from raw material, machined, and heat treated employing precise and exacting specifications; the details are assembled with high precision for maximum performance and service. The MSR class chains are offered in four main styles:
Style 1 has rollers that are taller than the sidebar
Style 2 has rollers that are equal to, or less than the height of the sidebar
Style 3 has offset sidebars. The rollers may be over or undersized
Style 4 is a “deep link”, or has sidebars that extend

No lubrication is required. Besides the meat packaging industry, these chains can be widely used in many other food processing applications.
