Customized Bearings and Sliding Guideways

Non-standard roller guideways can be manufactured to dimensions at your request. However, in some applications sliding guideways are better than roller-contact bearings. These guideways are available in the standardized dimensions of the roller-contact bearings or manufactured according to customer requirements.

Anti-friction guideway outside the standard dimensions

For non-standard frictionless guideway dimensions, unlimited solutions are possible with the customer's construction. Typically, the linear guideways are made of fully hardened tool steel. One-piece guideways up to 6000 mm (inductively hardened) or 3000 mm (fully hardened) can be produced. SCHNEEBERGER's expertise ensures the optimal solution. Sliding guideways

For sliding guideways/sliding bearings, SCHNEEBERGER provides steel bars with a sliding coating selected by the customer and subsequently ground to a smooth finish. Upon request, lubrication grooves can be inserted into the sliding coating. Both standard sizes and customer-specific dimensions can be considered for external dimensions.
