HIMMEL Agitator Gear Motors are robust, purpose-built drive solutions designed for continuous vertical operation on agitator tanks, available as integrated units or with an attached IEC standard motor, with ATEX variants available upon request. Built with helically geared, polished, and surface-hardened gear wheels in a sturdy cast iron housing, they feature reinforced output shafts and reinforced axial and radial bearings to withstand the high forces typical of agitator applications, while radial sealing rings with dust gutters prevent oil loss and dust ingress. Covering a power range of 0.12 kW to 160 kW, torques from 20 Nm to 15,000 Nm, and gear ratios from 1.7 to 9,435, HIMMEL agitator gear motors serve a wide range of industries including water treatment, biogas, cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing.
