The EAS-Sp/Sm/Zr is a torque-limiting clutch designed with positive locking and disengaging capabilities, operating on the ball-recess principle.

When power is supplied, this clutch effectively conveys the preset torque. However, if the torque surpasses the set limit, denoting an overload situation, the clutch disengages. It's important to note that the overload limit for the clutch is continuously adjustable through the coil current, and this adjustment can be made even while the clutch is in operation.
