Chain Couplings

Chain couplings are suitable for elastic torque transmission over a wide speed range. They are powerful, effective, and robust, e. g. to higher temperatures and slight angle or parallel displacement.

Furthermore, they are low-maintenance products, easy to separate by merely opening the coupling chain, and offer an excellent cost/performance ratio for numerous machine and plant construction applications. The wide application range is due to the multiple coupling sizes that can be supplied.

Mounting the unique coupling sprockets with hardened toothing is carried out inversely on the two opposite shaft extensions. However, specific stipulated requirements for angle deviation and parallel displacement must be met. The coupling chain – a measured duplex roller chain according to ISO 606 – is placed around the toothing of the two sprockets and closed using a connecting link.
