Autonics BFC-N - FIBER OPTIC AMPLIFIER
The Autonica BFC-N is a communication converter designed to connect up to 32 BF5 fiber optic amplifiers, enabling RS485 and serial communication plus an SW input. It features a 4-digit 7-segment LED display and operates from 12–24 V DC with a ripple tolerance of up to 10%. It accepts an NPN solid-state input and allows the BF5 series to execute all functions, set parameters, and monitor real-time data such as received light level and output status via an external device. The unit is IP40 protected, operates from -10 to 50°C (storage -20 to 60°C), and 35–85% RH (storage). It uses a case of polybutylene terephthalate with a polycarbonate cover, and comes with Ø4 mm, 3-wire, 2 m cable (AWG22; 60 cores, insulator Ø1.25 mm) and a side connector as accessories.
