The Autonics PRD30-25DP is a non-flush installation proximity sensor with a sensing side diameter of Ø30 mm and a sensing distance of 25 mm. It has hysteresis up to a maximum of 10% of the sensing distance and uses a standard sensing target of 75 × 75 × 1 mm iron. The device operates at 100 Hz and weighs about 143 g (approximately 180 g including packaging). An operation indicator is provided by a red LED. Power is supplied from 12 to 24 VDC with ripple of ≤ 10% and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC. Current consumption is a maximum of 10 mA, and the control output supports up to 200 mA. Residual voltage is limited to 1.5 V. Protection features include surge protection, output short over-current protection, and reverse polarity protection. Insulation resistance is at least 50 MΩ (500 VDC megger), with a dielectric strength of 1,500 VAC at 50/60 Hz for 1 minute. It endures vibration of 1.0 mm amplitude at 10–55 Hz in each X, Y, Z direction for 2 hours and shocks of 500 m/s² (≈ 50 G) in each X, Y, Z direction for three times. The operating environment ranges from -25 to 70 °C, with storage from -30 to 80 °C (no freezing or condensation), and humidity from 35 to 95% RH (storage: 35 to 95% RH, no freezing or condensation). The enclosure is IP67 (IEC standard). It uses a cable-type connection with a standard black PVC cable. The case and nut are nickel-plated brass (Ø 8 mm sensing side; connector type case: SUS303), the washer is nickel-plated iron, and the sensing side is made of PBT.
