The Autonics TC4SP-N4N is a DIN 48×48 mm temperature indicator with a 4-digit 7-segment LED display and built-in PID control. It supports multiple control methods (ON/OFF, P, PI, PD, PID) and accepts a variety of input sensors: thermocouples (K, J, L) and RTD/ resistance types (Pt100Ω, Cu50Ω). The device samples inputs every 100 ms and provides an indicator-type control output, powered by 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Display accuracy varies by sensor and temperature range, with specified performance at room temperature and beyond the range, and adjustable hysteresis from 1 to 100°C/°F (0.1 to 50.0°C/°F). The proportional band ranges from 0.1 to 999.9°C/°F, with integral and derivative times both adjustable from 0 to 9999 seconds, and a control period adjustable from 0.5 to 120.0 seconds. Manual reset is configurable from 0.0 to 100.0%. Operating temperature is -10 to 50°C (storage -20 to 60°C) with ambient humidity of 35 to 85% RH (storage 35 to 85% RH). The instrument features double or reinforced insulation (dielectric strength between measurement input and power sections: 2 kV AC for power-only, 1 kV AC/DC for power interfaces), and weighs approximately 123 g (about 76 g for a portion of the unit).
