Autonics TC4L-14R - Temperature Controller
The Autonics TC4L-14R is a compact DIN-sized controller (DIN W96×H96 mm) featuring a 4-digit 7-segment LED display. It supports multiple control methods including ON/OFF, P, PI, PD, and full PID, with input options for thermocouples (K, J, L) and RTD sensors (Pt100, Cu50). A 100 ms sampling cycle ensures responsive monitoring, and the unit can drive either a relay output (250 VAC, 3 A) or an SSR drive (12 VDC) for ON/OFF, phase, or cycle control. An optional Alarm 1 output provides additional alert capability. Power is supplied from 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Display accuracy is specified for RTD and thermocouple with room-temperature and out-of-range conditions, delivering precise PV readings within the stated ±1 digit and percent/degree tolerances. The device offers adjustable hysteresis (1–100 °C/°F), a proportional band from 0.1 to 999.9, and integral and derivative times from 0 to 9999 seconds, with a control period ranging 0.5 to 120.0 seconds. It also includes a manual reset from 0.0 to 100.0%. Environmental specs call for an ambient range of -10 to 50 °C (storage -20 to 60 °C) and 35–85% RH (storage also 35–85% RH).
