Ameridrives is a global designer and manufacturer of a wide variety of power transmission products, including universal driveshafts. They design, source, manufacture, and test a complete driveshaft product line with industry-leading performance that includes genuine Spicer U-Joints, patented INTER-SEALED slip sections, and wing-style (including the former Twin Disc line), and DIN style designs. U-drive shaft allows transmission of power at larger angles than is possible with a flexible coupling, generally used in applications where high misalignment must be accommodated, in the shaft to transmit rotary motion. They are used in automobile and truck driveshafts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment.

Long travel slip assemblies are made possible by the inverted spline allowing extended slip lengths far beyond the limits of other designs. The patented Inter-Sealed® design is the most versatile, with options of having a self-lubricating coating on the splines to reduce axial loads and prevent premature wear. A positive complete contact seal ensures that the grease remains inside and the contaminants remain out.
